The Kona coffee Farmer’s Association presented the 2016 Chef’s Choice Five Star 100 percent Kona Coffee Award certificates to the top five scoring farms at The Holualoa Village Coffee and Art Stroll. Kona Coffee Farmer’s Association president Bruce Corker presented the awards Nov. 21 to Hala Tree Farm, Fire Island Coffee, Mr. Bean Coffee, Blue Corner Coffee and Keopu Coffee. The stroll was held Nov. 5. Chef Morgan Starr from Mi’s Bistro, Chef Joe Forester from Nanea and Chef Justin Peters of Holuakoa Cafe were the judges.
