Cook County School District 130 will continue its monthly “Superintendent Coffees” for the 2016-17 school year with events in Crestwood, Robbins, Alsip and Blue Island.
Parents, guardians and community members are invited to attend the forums, which will include coffee and informal conversation with Superintendent Tina Halliman. Other district administrators will also attend to discuss a variety of topics, including curriculum, bilingual programs and special education.
The schedule for the remainder of 2016 is as follows:
- Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 9:30 a.m. at the Crestwood Elks Lodge, located at 4428 W. Midlothian Turnpike in Crestwood;
- Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the William Leonard Public Library, located at 13820 Central Park Ave. in Robbins;
- Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 9:30 a.m. at Worth Township, located at 11601 S. Pulaski Road in Alsip;
- Thursday, Dec. 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the Blue Island Park District, located at 12804 Highland Ave. in Blue Island.
