It may not seem ideal, but for people looking for a hot cup of coffee, look no further than a few Florida cities.

WalletHub released a list of the best cities for coffee lovers with Orlando coming in at number five. The other Florida cities on the list included: Tampa (13), Miami (20), St. Petersburg (36), Jacksonville (70), and Hialeah (87).

The rest of the top 10 cities were Portland, Ore.; Seattle, Wash.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; San Francisco, Calif.; New Orleans, La.; Madison, Wis.; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Scottsdale, Ariz.

According to the site, they came up with the ranking by looking at the 100 most populated cities in the country and grading them by 12 coffee-related metrics including average price per pack of coffee, percentage of households with their own coffee maker, number of coffee houses, and presence of coffee-centric events.

“When coffee is part of a daily routine and starting one’s day (in the right way) is associated with that cup of coffee, it almost is a daily therapy that you can control,” Michael Bernacchi, professor of marketing in the College of Business Administration at University of Detroit Mercy, told WalletHub.

Florida cities earned high marks in some sub-categories as Hialeah was named the city with the lowest average price per pack of coffee along with Orlando, which also was listed as one of the cities with the most coffee shops and donut shops.

Coffee has its perks including lowering your risk of colon cancer and not causing cancer at all. If you want to test your strength, one cup in Australia is said to keep people awake for days.
